About This Role
The Junior Stylist role at StyleBuddy is designed for aspiring fashion stylists who want to learn and grow under the mentorship of experienced professionals. You'll assist senior stylists on client sessions, learn StyleBuddy's proprietary styling frameworks, and gradually take on independent client consultations. This is the ideal entry point for a career in personal styling.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists during client consultations, shopping trips, and wardrobe sessions
- Prepare mood boards, shopping lists, and outfit suggestions for client sessions
- Learn StyleBuddy's styling frameworks — body type dressing, color analysis, and occasion styling
- Handle client communication, scheduling, and follow-ups
- Maintain inventory of styling tools and client reference materials
- Contribute to social media content creation under guidance
- Gradually take on independent client sessions with mentorship
- Attend training workshops and industry events for professional development
What You Need
- 0–2 years of experience in fashion or styling (internships count)
- Strong interest in personal styling, fashion, and client transformation
- Good communication skills and professional attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to feedback
- Basic understanding of fashion trends, body types, and dressing
Nice to Have
- Fashion degree or diploma from a recognized institute
- Active fashion or styling social media presence
- Prior internship at a styling company, fashion house, or retail brand
- Photography skills for documenting client transformations
