About This Role
As a Personal Grooming Consultant at StyleBuddy, you'll help clients develop comprehensive grooming routines tailored to their lifestyle, skin type, and professional needs. From skincare regimens and haircare to fragrance selection and overall presentation, you'll guide clients toward looking polished and confident every day. This role combines expertise in personal grooming with the ability to build rapport and deliver transformative experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one personal grooming consultations for men and women
- Assess clients' skin type, hair type, and grooming habits to create personalized routines
- Recommend skincare products, haircare solutions, and grooming tools suited to each client
- Guide clients on fragrance selection, nail care, and overall hygiene practices
- Deliver corporate grooming workshops for teams and organizations
- Create grooming guides and reference materials for clients to follow independently
- Stay updated on grooming trends, product launches, and dermatological research
- Maintain high client satisfaction scores and encourage referrals
What You Need
- 2+ years of experience in personal grooming, cosmetology, or dermatology-adjacent roles
- Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients, product categories, and grooming techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and personal grooming standards
- Ability to work with diverse client profiles — corporate professionals, grooms, executives
Nice to Have
- Certification in cosmetology, trichology, or skincare
- Experience conducting grooming workshops for corporates
- Background in salon or spa management
- Social media presence in grooming or skincare niche
