About This Role
As a Freelance Fashion Stylist at StyleBuddy, you'll work independently with clients across 35+ cities in India, delivering personal styling consultations, wardrobe makeovers, wedding styling, vacation styling, and personal shopping experiences. You set your own schedule, choose your sessions, and earn competitive per-session payouts. StyleBuddy handles all client acquisition, marketing, and booking management — you focus purely on delivering transformative styling experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one personal styling consultations for clients across occasions
- Deliver wardrobe makeover sessions — decluttering, organizing, and rebuilding wardrobes
- Style clients for weddings, vacations, photoshoots, and everyday occasions
- Accompany clients on personal shopping trips at malls and boutiques
- Perform body type analysis, color analysis, and proportion dressing
- Create personalized lookbooks and outfit recommendations for clients
- Maintain high client satisfaction ratings to drive repeat bookings
- Collaborate with StyleBuddy's grooming and coaching experts for holistic client transformation
What You Need
- 2+ years of professional fashion styling experience
- Strong understanding of body types, color theory, and occasion dressing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Portfolio showcasing personal styling work across different occasions
- Professional appearance and client-first attitude
- Willingness to travel within your city for client sessions
Nice to Have
- Degree from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or equivalent fashion institute
- Experience with wedding trousseau and bridal styling
- Knowledge of luxury brands and Indian designer labels
- Social media following in the fashion or styling niche
