    I am currently a Fashion Design student at NIFT, and I am passionate about exploring ideas and emotions through garments. I enjoy the process of taking a concept and slowly developing it into a finished piece through research, sketching, and construction. My work mostly comes from academic projects, where I have experimented with different surface techniques, fabric manipulation, and storytelling through clothing. I am especially interested in how garments can communicate a feeling or narrative, and I like working with concepts that have depth and meaning. Through my projects, I have learned skills such as research development, moodboard creation, basic garment construction, and understanding materials. These experiences have helped me build my creative thinking as well as my technical foundation. I am someone who is curious and observant, and I enjoy learning new skills and improving my work. I am currently looking to gain more real-world exposure and understand how fashion brands work in practice, especially in terms of design development and creative processes. My goal is to grow as a designer, develop my own design language, and contribute to meaningful and creative work. I am open to learning, adapting, and taking on new challenges that help me improve both creatively and professionally.

I have also worked with surface techniques such as fabric manipulation, basic embroidery, painting on fabric, and textile exploration as part of my coursework.     Through my assignments, I have learned how to take a concept from initial research to a final garment, including sketching, sampling, and construction. I am familiar with creating design sheets, technical drawings, and presentation boards. I also have basic knowledge of digital tools like Adobe Photoshop and Canva for presentations and visual development.
